DecAIHub: The Verifiability Registry for Decentralized AI

Welcome to DecAIHub — your compass in the rapidly growing but noisy world of AI-crypto projects.

The Problem: "AI-Washing"

The intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain is full of potential, but it is also plagued by a severe lack of transparency. Some projects may present unverified claims about their technology—a phenomenon known as "AI-washing" (overstating AI capabilities) and "onchain-washing" (overstating the need for a blockchain).

For researchers, developers, and everyday users, it takes hours of digging to answer simple questions: Is there real AI here? Does this actually need a blockchain? Why is there a token?

Our Solution: Verifiable Evidence

DecAIHub is not just another crypto encyclopedia or financial advisory site. We are a registry of verifiability. We shift the focus from "trusting the marketing" to "verifying the evidence."

For every project, we create a structured Project Passport. Instead of long, subjective reviews, we look for hard, independent proof—what we call Tier-1 Evidence (verified smart contracts, active GitHub repositories, formal documentation, and third-party audits). If a claim isn't backed by solid evidence, we mark it as unverified.

The DecAI Fit Score

To give you a fast and strict signal, we evaluate projects using our custom metric: the DecAI Fit (scored from 0 to 6). This score measures how well a project aligns with the true principles of Decentralized AI.

We assess four key pillars:

  1. AI Reality: Is there a genuine, working AI model, agent, or infrastructure?
  2. On-chain Necessity: Does the project actually need a blockchain to function, or is it just a database?
  3. Token Utility: Does the native token have a real economic or governance purpose?
  4. Evidence: Are all these claims backed by Tier-1, verifiable artifacts?

(Note: If no verifiable AI capabilities are found as of the review date, the DecAI Fit score is capped at 0. We focus on verifiable engineering artifacts rather than unverified claims).

We hold ourselves to the same standard — read about DecAIHub's own token policy.

Open Data & Transparency

We believe in radical transparency. Our methodologies, classification rules, and datasets are fully open-source and available on GitHub, Zenodo, and/or this site. DecAIHub allows you to draw your own objective conclusions based on facts, not marketing noise.
