Disclaimer
Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.
TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)
- What it is: an alliance (Fetch.ai + SingularityNET + Ocean Protocol) with a plan to unify the ecosystems and tokenomics under a common ASI token.
- Who it’s for: the tokenholder communities and the developers/users of applications in these ecosystems.
- Why onchain/token: the unified token is used as a common “utility token” and a coordination mechanism (including voting) for the merged tokenomics.
How it works (very briefly)
- The user does: holds FET/AGIX/OCEAN and (if necessary) takes part in the migration/swap into ASI.
- The system does: converts the tokens at fixed ratios and transitions the ecosystem to the common ASI token.
- The user gets: a single ASI token and participation in the merged tokenomics/ecosystem.
- Where the blockchain is: issuance and circulation of the token (including ERC‑20 on Ethereum) and the related migration processes/contracts.
- Token role (if any): ASI — a common utility/governance token for the merged networks/platforms.

General project overview
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI Alliance) is an initiative to unify three “decentralized AI” ecosystems (Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, Ocean Protocol) through common tokenomics and a roadmap toward decentralized AGI/ASI.
Important: within DecAI Fit we assess specifically the verifiability of the “AI” claims (whether there are Tier‑1 artifacts about a real AI subsystem in the product), not “how hyped the project is”. According to Tier‑1 sources, the alliance’s intent/roadmap and the merger tokenomics are well confirmed; Tier‑1 evidence of a specific working AI component at the “ASI Alliance protocol level” was not identified.
Features/modules
- Common ASI token: conversion of FET/AGIX/OCEAN into a single ASI at fixed ratios.
- Governance layer: a council is described, along with tokenholder participation via votes on key decisions.
- Roadmap: a plan to integrate the stacks/applications and scale up decentralized compute for AI.
Typical scenarios
- Scenario 1: a holder of AGIX/OCEAN/FET → migrates/receives a conversion into ASI → continues to participate in the ecosystem through the single token.
- Scenario 2: a community member → votes on key decisions (merger/adding projects/constitution changes) → influences the direction of the alliance.
- Scenario 3: a developer/project → uses the common tokenomics and the integrations between the Fetch/SNET/Ocean stack (per the roadmap) → launches AI applications.
Getting started (wallet/network)
- What you need: an EVM wallet (if you hold ERC‑20 on Ethereum) or the use of centralized exchanges (where the conversion may happen automatically).
- Network/chain: for ERC‑20 — Ethereum.
- Fees: standard network fees (e.g. gas on Ethereum) for onchain migration/transfer operations.
Architecture/tech (non‑AI)
- Components: the ASI token on several networks (including ERC‑20 on Ethereum), migration/conversion contracts and bridge infrastructure (described in the Vision Paper and the merger guide).
- Participant roles: tokenholders (participation in migration/votes), member foundations (coordination), the teams of the three ecosystems.
- Where logic runs: token issuance/circulation — onchain (e.g. Ethereum ERC‑20); coordination/roadmap — largely offchain (foundations/council).
- Dependencies: Ethereum and other networks/bridges (FetchChain/Cosmos, Cardano, BNB Chain, Polygon — listed as supported post‑merger in the Vision Paper).
Token/economics (expanded, no forecasts)
- Token utility: in the Vision Paper, ASI is described as a “decentralized‑AI utility token” for use across the three platforms; tokenholders also vote on key decisions.
- Protocol necessity drivers: unified tokenomics is the basis for coordinating the merger and incentivizing the integration of the ecosystems.
- Who pays fees: users pay the fees of the respective networks for transfers/migration (e.g. Ethereum gas).
- Where fees go: depends on the specific network (not specified by a single rule in the card’s Tier‑1 sources).
- Issuance/burn: per the Vision Paper, the total supply is fixed: 2,630,547,141 ASI.
- Security/incentive mechanisms: incentives and programs depend on the individual ecosystems; the common mechanism is the tokenomics and governance processes (Tier‑1).
- Distribution and conversion: FET→ASI 1:1; AGIX→ASI 0.433350:1; OCEAN→ASI 0.433226:1 (Tier‑1).
- Treasury: distributed management via foundations/pools and council coordination (Tier‑1 Vision Paper).
Governance
- Who makes decisions: an Artificial Superintelligence Council (member foundations) is described + tokenholder votes on specific events.
- How protocol parameters change: key changes (e.g. supply expansion/constitution changes) assume council participation and a tokenholder vote (Tier‑1).
- Where decisions are discussed/made: the official ASI Alliance documentation and governance publications/archive.
- Keys/multisig: — (not established within this card).
Security and incidents
- Audits: — (for ASI Alliance as a merged entity, no public audits were recorded per Tier‑1).
- Bug bounty: — (a bug bounty program specifically for ASI Alliance is not confirmed per Tier‑1).
- Incidents: —.
- Threat model: high risk of scams/phishing during the migration (the documentation contains a scam warning); also bridge and migration‑contract risks.
Project status and timeline
- Current status: an active initiative; the token circulates on mainnet networks (e.g. Ethereum ERC‑20).
- Key releases/milestones: 2024‑04 (Vision Paper); 2024‑07‑01 start of the two‑phase merger/migration process (Tier‑1).
- Roadmap: a public document is available (see links_*).
Ecosystem/integrations
- Integrations: migration tools and exchange/bridge support; the cross‑chain deployments of the token are listed in the Vision Paper.
- Partners: the three member foundations (Fetch.ai Foundation, SingularityNET Foundation, Ocean Protocol Foundation).
- Where it’s actually used: tokenomics and governance in the merged ecosystem; specific product AI use cases mostly belong to the individual member platforms (Fetch/SNET/Ocean).
AI component of the project
- What is real AI here? The Tier‑1 Vision Paper describes a roadmap toward decentralized AGI/ASI and lists the members’ AI directions/stack. At the same time, a “single working AI component of ASI Alliance” as a product artifact (AI_1..AI_4) is not confirmed per Tier‑1.
- What is truly onchain? Onchain here is mainly the ASI token (including ERC‑20 on Ethereum) and the related migration/conversion processes.
- Why is a token needed? The token is the basis of the common tokenomics and governance: council processes and tokenholder votes on key decisions are described.
- Red flags (based on the information found): AI‑washing — medium risk (many claims/roadmap, but few verifiable product AI artifacts of the “alliance” itself); onchain‑washing — medium risk (onchain is mainly the token/migration); token‑washing — medium risk (the token matters for the merger/coordination, but its utility in a “real service” needs to be checked separately for each of the members).

Onchain necessity
OC_1 — contracts/addresses/chain (1/0)
- OC_1 (decision): 1
- Chain: Ethereum
- Addresses/identifiers: token contract
0xaea46A60368A7bD060eec7DF8CBa43b7EF41Ad85 - Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://etherscan.io/token/0xaea46A60368A7bD060eec7DF8CBa43b7EF41Ad85

- Conflict note (if any): —
OC_2 — onchain beyond just a token (1/0)
- OC_2 (decision): 0
- What useful logic is onchain: Per Tier‑1, no separate onchain logic of the alliance is confirmed beyond the token/token migration.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://434267010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE0eZgP8lxRNljW57Uw4H%2Fuploads%2FzuLTqcvU0P6PejPUONJG%2FArtificial%20Superintelligence%20(ASI)%20Alliance%20Vision%20Paper.pdf?alt=media&token=e794c589-d4ef-44d3-97c0-697b06956479
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): Tier‑1 focuses on tokenomics/coordination and the members’ stack; no separate onchain logic of the “alliance” is singled out.
- Conflict note (if any): —
OC_3 — onchain is critical (1/0)
- OC_3 (decision): 0
- “Replace the blockchain” test: the alliance as a coordination effort could exist without a blockchain; onchain here is mainly needed for token issuance/migration.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://docs.superintelligence.io/artificial-superintelligence-alliance/archive/navigating-the-asi-token-merger-a-comprehensive-guide
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): Tier‑1 describes the onchain token merger but does not prove that the whole “product” breaks down without a blockchain.
- Conflict note (if any): —
Token necessity
TK_0 — no token (1/0)
- TK_0 (decision): 0
- Claim (one line): The project has a token, ASI.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://434267010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE0eZgP8lxRNljW57Uw4H%2Fuploads%2FzuLTqcvU0P6PejPUONJG%2FArtificial%20Superintelligence%20(ASI)%20Alliance%20Vision%20Paper.pdf?alt=media&token=e794c589-d4ef-44d3-97c0-697b06956479
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): The Vision Paper directly describes “convert … into the new $ASI”.
- Conflict note (if any): —
TK_1..TK_4 (1/0)

- TK_1 (decision): 0
- Claim (one line): No Tier‑1 confirmation of “payment for a specific service specifically in the ASI token” at the alliance level was found.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://434267010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE0eZgP8lxRNljW57Uw4H%2Fuploads%2FzuLTqcvU0P6PejPUONJG%2FArtificial%20Superintelligence%20(ASI)%20Alliance%20Vision%20Paper.pdf?alt=media&token=e794c589-d4ef-44d3-97c0-697b06956479
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): The document calls ASI a “utility token” but does not fix a specific tariff/payment function of the “alliance” as a protocol fact.
- Conflict note (if any): —
TK_2 — incentives/collateral/penalties (1/0)
- TK_2 (decision): 0
- Claim (one line): Incentives/pools are described at the level of individual members/platforms; a single collateral/penalty mechanism of ASI Alliance is not confirmed in Tier‑1.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://434267010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE0eZgP8lxRNljW57Uw4H%2Fuploads%2FzuLTqcvU0P6PejPUONJG%2FArtificial%20Superintelligence%20(ASI)%20Alliance%20Vision%20Paper.pdf?alt=media&token=e794c589-d4ef-44d3-97c0-697b06956479
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): The Vision Paper describes directions/pools in the individual networks but does not define a single penalty protocol of the alliance.
- Conflict note (if any): —

- TK_3 (decision): 1
- Claim (one line): The Vision Paper records the participation of $ASI token holders in votes on important decisions (e.g. supply expansion/constitution changes).
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://434267010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE0eZgP8lxRNljW57Uw4H%2Fuploads%2FzuLTqcvU0P6PejPUONJG%2FArtificial%20Superintelligence%20(ASI)%20Alliance%20Vision%20Paper.pdf?alt=media&token=e794c589-d4ef-44d3-97c0-697b06956479
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): The governance section describes events that require token holder approval.
- Conflict note (if any): —
TK_4 — token is replaceable (1/0)
- TK_4 (decision): 0
- Claim (one line): Replacing the token contradicts the goal of unifying the tokenomics; Tier‑1 does not claim “replaceability”.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://434267010-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FE0eZgP8lxRNljW57Uw4H%2Fuploads%2FzuLTqcvU0P6PejPUONJG%2FArtificial%20Superintelligence%20(ASI)%20Alliance%20Vision%20Paper.pdf?alt=media&token=e794c589-d4ef-44d3-97c0-697b06956479
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): Tier‑1 builds the design around a common token and supply/conversions; there is no statement about replacement.
- Conflict note (if any): —
