Singularity Finance

Singularity Finance — a reference card for a crypto project: what the product does and how verifiable the project’s key claims are; also — alignment with the Decentralized AI thesis (DecAI Fit).

Singularity Finance — an AI/Other | Infra project on the Ethereum network, token (symbol: SFI).

Disclaimer

Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.

TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)

  • What it is: a project that describes a Layer‑2 blockchain focused on the “AI economy”, with tokenomics/a role for the SFI token.
  • Who it’s for: users and developers who use the L2 (transactions/smart contracts/dApps) and node/staking participants (per the project’s description).
  • Why onchain/token: per Tier‑1, the SFI token is used for network fees (transactions/smart contracts), staking/nodes and governance.

How it works (very briefly)

  1. The user does: sends transactions/executes smart contracts and/or runs dApps on the L2 infrastructure (as described in the documentation).
  2. The system does: processes the operations and charges network fees.
  3. The user gets: execution of transactions/smart contracts on the L2 (per the project’s claim).
  4. Where the blockchain is: the L2 network (described in Tier‑1) + the onchain SFI token (ERC‑20) on Ethereum.
  5. Token role: Tier‑1 describes SFI as the unit of account for network fees, staking/nodes and governance.

General project overview

Singularity Finance is a new entity formed by the merger of three projects: SingularityDAO, Cogito Finance and SelfKey; their tokens convert into SFI (SDAO 1:1, CGV 1:0.14122, 800 KEY = 1 SFI), and the first migration phase started on 2025-02-06. In the Tier‑1 documentation, Singularity Finance describes a “Layer‑2 blockchain network” and positions itself as infrastructure for the “AI economy”. At the same time, Tier‑1 confirmation of a specific working AI component (a model/agents/inference as part of the product/protocol) was not found — therefore AI is recorded at the intent level (AI_0=1).

Features/modules

  • L2 network: transactions and execution of smart contracts (per the description).
  • Asset tokenization: described as an operation with a launch fee in SFI (per Tier‑1).
  • Nodes/staking/delegation: described as network security mechanisms (per Tier‑1).
  • Governance: described as voting by SFI holders on upgrades/incentive distribution (per Tier‑1).

Typical scenarios

  • Scenario 1: a user performs operations on the L2 → pays network fees in SFI.
  • Scenario 2: a participant stakes SFI → participates in node operation/network security (or delegates).
  • Scenario 3: an SFI holder votes on upgrades/incentives (as described in the documentation).

Getting started (wallet/network)

  • What you need: an EVM wallet and access to the project’s instructions/endpoints.
  • Network/chain: Ethereum (the SFI token); the L2 network is described in the documentation (connection details are not established in this card).
  • Fees: network fees in SFI (per the Tier‑1 description of the token utility).

Architecture/tech (non‑AI)

  • Components: the L2 network (nodes/staking), the SFI token, dApps/protocols on the infrastructure (per the description).
  • Participant roles: users, dApp/protocol developers, node operator, delegator.
  • Where logic runs: onchain (L2) — transactions/contracts/fees; offchain — not established.
  • Dependencies: Ethereum as the base network (not detailed in this card).

Token/economics (expanded, no forecasts)

  • Token utility: network fees (transactions/smart contracts), asset tokenization fees, dApp/protocol operations (per Tier‑1).
  • Protocol necessity drivers: the token utility is described in Tier‑1 as part of the network’s operation (fees/nodes/governance).
  • Who pays fees: users and dApp/protocol developers/operators (per Tier‑1).
  • Where fees go: 40% of net fees is burned; 60% is directed to the incentives pool (per Tier‑1).
  • Issuance/burn: 40% net fees burn (a deflationary component).
  • Security/incentive mechanisms: staking/nodes + rewards from the incentives pool.
  • Distribution and token issuance schedule: Tier‑1: initial supply 241,215,846 SFI (token merge) + additional mint 258,784,154 → total supply 500,000,000; distribution/vesting — in the documentation (see Evidence/links_*).
  • Treasury: the distribution of the incentives pool is managed by governance (per Tier‑1).

Governance

  • Who makes decisions: SFI holders (governance rights per the Tier‑1 description).
  • How protocol parameters change: voting on upgrades/allocation of incentives (per Tier‑1).
  • Where decisions are discussed/made: — (not established per Tier‑1).
  • Keys/multisig: — (not established).

Security and incidents

  • Audits: —.
  • Bug bounty: —.
  • Incidents: — (not found per Tier‑1).
  • Threat model: in this card there are no Tier-1 addresses of the L2 network/contracts and no audits; the AI part is described as an “AI economy” without a confirmed AI component.

Project status and timeline

  • Current status: active (there is documentation and a token).
  • Key releases/milestones: 2024-10-15 — announcement of the merger of SingularityDAO, Cogito Finance and SelfKey and publication of the litepaper; 2024-12-09…13 — the SDAO holder vote on the merger terms (no vote was required for Cogito); 2025-02-06 — start of the first phase of the migration into SFI: SDAO 1:1, CGV 1:0.14122, 800 KEY = 1 SFI (the ratios are based on the 200‑day moving average up to 2024-11-26; the KEY conversion window is 90 days from the SFI launch, on Ethereum only).
  • Roadmap: see links_*.

Ecosystem/integrations

  • Integrations: — (not established).
  • Partners: — (not established).
  • Where it’s actually used: — (not established).

AI component of the project

  • What is real AI here? Per Tier‑1 sources, AI is recorded as intent/positioning around the “AI economy”; Tier‑1 proof of a specific working AI component was not found.
  • What is truly onchain? the L2 network (transactions/smart contracts) is described, and the onchain SFI token (ERC‑20 on Ethereum).
  • Why is a token needed? Tier‑1 describes SFI as the token for fees, staking/nodes and governance.
  • Red flags (based on the information found): the risk of AI‑washing (AI is claimed as an “economy”, but without proof of an AI component); the absence in this card of Tier‑1 L2 addresses/contracts and public audits.

  • Conflict note (if any): —

TK_4 — token is replaceable (1/0)

  • TK_4 (decision): 0
  • Claim (one line): The replaceability of the token is not established; Tier‑1 describes the token as a native element of the network (fees/staking/governance).
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://docs.singularityfinance.ai/tokenomics-and-utility/token-utility
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): TK_4=1 requires a justification that the token can easily be replaced without loss of meaning.
  • Conflict note (if any): —
