DataBot
DataBot (Databot) — a reference card for a crypto project: what the product does and how verifiable the project’s key claims are; also — alignment with the Decentralized AI thesis (DecAI Fit).
DataBot (Databot) — an AI/Other / Infra project on Ethereum, token (symbol: DATA).
Disclaimer
Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.
TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)
- What it is: an analytics platform and a set of tools for web3 analytics and “discoveries” (including via dashboards and bots).
- Who it’s for: traders/analysts and teams that need a quick summary of signals and monitoring of social/market data.
- Why onchain/token: the token is used as an access/tier mechanism and is described as part of the “rev share/incentives” model; the onchain part mostly boils down to the token.
- What you can actually touch (Tier‑1): the web app
app.data-bot.xyz(platform dashboards/tools).
How it works (very briefly)
- The user does: opens the app, chooses a service/dashboard, (optionally) connects a wallet.
- The system does: shows dashboards/summaries/alerts and (in individual services) publishes AI‑generated “threads”.
- The user gets: analytical reports/trends/discoveries and access to advanced features under the tier model.
- Where the blockchain is: onchain is represented by the ERC‑20 token
DATA(a contract on the Ethereum network). - Token role (if any): access to features via tiers + a claimed model of distributing part of the revenue/taxes (rev share).

General project overview
DataBot (Databot) describes itself as an “ecosystem of tools” for web3 analytics: dashboards, bots/alerts and additional services for researching projects and market signals. According to the documentation, part of the functionality is related to AI generation of daily materials (an “AI agent” with examples of AI‑generated threads).
The onchain part is mostly represented by the DATA token (ERC‑20) and the model of tier access and distribution of part of the revenue/taxes described in the docs. At the same time, the core analytics logic looks like an offchain service, and the blockchain is used as a mechanism for token ownership/accounting.
Features/modules
- Web3 analytics dashboards (the “Web3 Dashboards” section in the docs).
- Telegram bots and alerts (per the docs).
- AI agent (per the docs): daily posts about early discoveries, “LLMs to extract and summarize insights”.
- Tier system (per the docs): access to features depending on the token holding/stake.
Typical scenarios
- Scenario 1: a user opens the app → views dashboards/signals → gets a summary of trends/mentions/observations.
- Scenario 2: a user subscribes to alerts/the bot → receives notifications about events/mentions.
- Scenario 3: a token holder uses tier access → unlocks advanced features/insights.
Getting started (wallet/network)
- What you need: a browser; for tier access — a wallet with the
DATAtoken (if required by the chosen plan/feature). - Network/chain: Ethereum (ERC‑20 token).
- Fees: Ethereum fees arise for onchain operations with the token; using the web service may involve a subscription/plans (per the docs).
Architecture/tech (non‑AI)
- Components: web app + bots/services (per the docs); the onchain component is the
DATAtoken. - Participant roles: users/token holders; the team/service operator.
- Where logic runs: analytics and the “AI agent” run offchain; onchain — token ownership/transfers.
- Dependencies: Ethereum infrastructure (for the token) + the service’s offchain infrastructure.
Token/economics (expanded, no forecasts)
- Token utility: in the docs the token is described as a “native utility token” for access/benefits and “future rewards”.
- Protocol necessity drivers: tier access and rev share/incentives (per the docs).
- Who pays fees: users pay onchain Ethereum fees for transfers/operations with the token.
- Where fees/taxes go: the docs describe a buy/sell tax model and distribution to development, “Revenue Sharing & Liquidity”, marketing.
- Issuance/burn: fixed supply (per the docs).
- Incentive mechanisms: rev share is described in the docs, but it is noted that the system is “not active” as of the document; buyback & burn before activation is also mentioned.
- Distribution/vesting: see the tokenomics sections in the docs (not confirmed in detail within this card).
- Treasury: — (not found in Tier‑1).
Governance
- Who makes decisions: — (not found in Tier‑1).
- How protocol parameters change: —.
- Where decisions are discussed/made: —.
- Keys/multisig: —.
Security and incidents
- Audits: —.
- Bug bounty: —.
- Incidents: — (not found in Tier‑1).
- Threat model: risks typical of an offchain service (centralization/availability/data quality) + ERC‑20 token risks (contract/taxes/liquidity).
Project status and timeline
- Current status: active; the ERC‑20 token exists on Ethereum mainnet.
- Key milestones (per the docs): token launch (Phase 2, 2023); “Beta Platform Launch” (Phase 3, 2024); “AI Discovery Agent” (Phase 4, 2025).
- Roadmap: see the link in
links_*.
Ecosystem/integrations
- Integrations: app/bots; integrations in the docs are described as ecosystem services (dashboards/bots/private groups/business).
- Partners: — (not found in Tier‑1).
- Where it is used: examples and service pages are available in the official docs.
AI component of the project
- What is real AI here? Per the docs, there is an AI agent that publishes “early discoveries” daily, using LLM mechanisms for extracting and summarizing insights (architecture details not disclosed).
- What is truly onchain? Onchain is confirmed by the existence of the
DATAtoken on the Ethereum network; the other services look like an offchain platform. - Why is a token needed? In the docs the token is described as an access/tiers mechanism and part of the revenue/incentives model (rev share), although it is noted that rev share is “not yet active”.
- Red flags (based on the information found): rev share is marked in the docs as “not yet active”; the quality/metrics of the AI component are not disclosed; the onchain part may boil down to the token without protocol logic.
