NuNet

NuNet — a reference card for a crypto project: what the product does and how verifiable the project’s key claims are; also — alignment with the Decentralized AI thesis (DecAI Fit).

NuNet — an AI/Compute / Infra project on Ethereum, token (symbol: NTX).

Disclaimer

Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.

TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)

  • What it is: an infrastructure for distributed computing/orchestration, with claimed scenarios for AI/ML (including federated learning/ensembles, etc. — per the whitepaper).
  • Who it’s for: AI/ML developers and teams that need distributed resources.
  • Why onchain/token: onchain is used for the network’s accounting/economy; the NTX token — for payments/incentives/governance (per the whitepaper).

How it works (very briefly)

  1. The user does: submits a computational task/uses resources.
  2. The system does: coordinates the network participants and delivers the computation result.
  3. The user gets: access to distributed computing.
  4. Where the blockchain is: Ethereum (the NTX token and the economic layer; details of the protocol contracts — in the documentation).
  5. Token role (if any): payment for resources, incentives for participants, governance (claimed).

General project overview

NuNet describes an infrastructure layer for distributed computing, where AI/ML tasks and the cooperation of resources are among the key scenarios. The whitepaper contains technical descriptions and an economic model with a token.

AI component of the project

  • What is real AI here? The whitepaper explicitly considers AI/ML processes (federated learning, ensembles, AI workloads) as the target workload.
  • What is truly onchain? the NTX token and the economic layer; the token contract is verifiable onchain.
  • Why is a token needed? payment for resources, incentives for participants, governance (per the whitepaper).
  • Red flags (based on the information found): there are no public compute quality metrics/AI benchmarks in this card; it is important to check the actual status of the network and the availability of the product.

AI reality

AI_0 — AI intent (Tier‑1 roadmap) (1/0)

  • AI_0 (decision): 0
  • Claim (one line): AI/ML are described as part of the target functionality (AI_1/AI_4), not only plans.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://nunet-io.github.io/public/NuNet_Whitepaper.pdf
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): there are functional descriptions and a technical description.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

AI_1 — what the AI does (1/0)

  • AI_1 (decision): 1
  • Claim (one line): the platform is oriented toward executing AI/ML workloads and the interaction of AI processes/models in a distributed environment.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://nunet-io.github.io/public/NuNet_Whitepaper.pdf
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): there are specific AI/ML scenarios.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

AI_2 — demos/examples (1/0)

  • AI_2 (decision): 0
  • Claim (one line): a public demo “via a link” is not recorded in this card.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — —
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): without a demo we do not raise the flag.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

AI_3 — metrics/quality (1/0)

  • AI_3 (decision): 0
  • Metrics: —
  • Context (version/date/how measured): —
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — —
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): benchmarks/metrics are not recorded.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

  • AI_4 (decision): 1
  • Claim (one line): the whitepaper contains a technical description of the architecture and components.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://nunet-io.github.io/public/NuNet_Whitepaper.pdf
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): there is a technical description of the components and interactions.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

Onchain necessity

OC_1 — contracts/addresses/chain (1/0)

  • OC_1 (decision): 1
  • Chain: Ethereum
  • Addresses/identifiers: 0xf0d33bEDa4d734C72684B5f9AbbEBf715D0a7935
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://etherscan.io/token/0xf0d33beda4d734c72684b5f9abbebf715d0a7935
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): the token and its parameters are verifiable onchain.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

OC_2 — onchain beyond just a token (1/0)

  • OC_2 (decision): 1
  • What useful logic is onchain: the economic layer/accounting and the network incentives are described as part of a system that is not reducible to a token “for show”.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://nunet-io.github.io/public/NuNet_Whitepaper.pdf
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): the onchain role beyond the token is described in the whitepaper.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

OC_3 — onchain is critical (1/0)

  • OC_3 (decision): 0
  • “Replace the blockchain” test: there is no strict proof of OC_3 in this card (in the sense of “the rationale breaks down”), hence 0.
