VAIOT

VAIOT (VAI) — a reference card for a crypto project: what the product does and how verifiable the project’s key claims are; also — alignment with the Decentralized AI thesis (DecAI Fit).

VAIOT — an AI/Agents / LegalTech project (AI assistants for legal services + onchain components for “intelligent contracts” / dispute resolution), token (symbol: VAI).

Disclaimer

Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.

TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)

  • What it is: a set of “legal tech” products: AI assistants for generating/analyzing legal documents and “decentralized law” modules (including dispute resolution).
  • Who it’s for: private users and businesses/lawyers who need automation of contract creation/maintenance and legal support.
  • Why onchain/token: the VAI token is used as payment/discounts/bonuses/staking and as part of the mechanics in the ecosystem (including, as claimed, for dispute resolution); onchain is used as a recording/security layer for digital contracts/processes.

How it works (very briefly)

  1. The user does: submits a request/template in the AI assistant (for example, “generate a contract”) or initiates a legal process (for example, the dispute module).
  2. The system does: uses NLP/LLM approaches to build the document/answer and runs the business process (checks, templates, storage, execution rules).
  3. The user gets: a contract/explanation/service (a ready document, assistance, a modular legal workflow).
  4. Where the blockchain is: the whitepaper claims storage/recording of digital contracts “on the blockchain” and its own chain on the Cosmos SDK at a later stage; the website also claims integration with Polygon and a private chain on Hyperledger.
  5. Token role: per the website and the whitepaper — settlement method, payback bonus/fee reductions, rewards (including for “nodes securing the network” in the whitepaper), staking; the website also claims juror mechanics/involvement in dispute resolution.

General project overview

VAIOT is positioned as a LegalTech / Decentralized Law set of solutions, where AI assistants are used as the interface/engine for automating legal actions (contract creation/analysis, answers to legal questions), and blockchain components — as a recording/security layer and ecosystem mechanics. In the whitepaper, VAIOT describes “Intelligent Contracts” and the “Virtual AI Legal Assistant”, as well as the AI + blockchain technology stack (Cosmos SDK as a future proprietary chain; the token on Ethereum; AI/NLP/ML components).

Features/modules

Typical scenarios

  • Scenario 1: a user sets the contract parameters → the system generates the document (whitepaper: printable + digital onchain version) → the user signs/uses it.
  • Scenario 2: a user buys a service → receives payback/a discount/payment via VAI (per the website).
  • Scenario 3: a participant takes part in dispute resolution (DDRS) as a juror / holder/staker → receives incentives (per the website).

Getting started (wallet/network)

  • What you need: access to the VAIOT products (web applications) and an EVM wallet for the VAI token.
  • Network/chain: Ethereum (the VAI ERC‑20 contract); product integrations are also claimed with Polygon (website).
  • Fees: network gas (for onchain actions) + service fees/payments (if applicable).

Architecture/tech (non‑AI)

  • Components (whitepaper): Virtual AI Assistant, Intelligent Contracts, the VAI token (Ethereum), the claimed proprietary chain on the Cosmos SDK (a future stage), integrations with external AI components (the whitepaper mentions IBM Watson).
  • Where logic runs: AI processing — offchain; onchain — the token and the claimed processes of storing/recording digital contracts/parts of the business logic.

Token/economics (expanded, no forecasts)

Per the VAIOT website “VAI Token’s utilities” and per the whitepaper (section VI):

  • Token utility: settlement method (payment for goods/services), payback bonus, fee reductions; rewards/incentives (jurors/holders/staking — per the website; rewards for nodes securing the network — per the whitepaper).
  • Max total supply: 400,000,000 VAI (recorded both in the whitepaper and on Etherscan).

Governance

  • Who makes decisions: the company (the whitepaper describes the issuer / directors).

Security and incidents

  • Audits: the vaiot-resources repository has an audits/ folder with PDF reports/summaries (Tier‑1).
  • Bug bounty: not recorded.

Project status and timeline

  • Current status: the VAI token exists as an ERC‑20 on Ethereum; the products/website are active; the whitepaper describes a roadmap (including migration to a proprietary chain on the Cosmos SDK as a plan).
  • Roadmap: https://www.vaiot.ai/roadmap

Ecosystem/integrations

  • Integrations (website): Polygon (mentioned in the “AI & Blockchain Tech Suite”), the staking portal (stake.vaiot.ai), as well as links to products (DDRS, assistant).

AI component of the project

  • What is real AI here? The whitepaper has a separate section “VAIOT’S ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE” (NLP for the Virtual AI Assistant, ML/regression for fraud detection, neural networks/ML for code generation, etc.). The website claims AI Legal Multi‑Agents and “domain‑specific LLMs”.
  • What is truly onchain? The VAI ERC‑20 token on Ethereum; the whitepaper describes the use of the blockchain for digital contracts and plans for its own chain on the Cosmos SDK; the website claims integration with Polygon and a private chain on Hyperledger.
  • Why is a token needed? Per the whitepaper and the website: settlement method, payback bonus/fee reductions, rewards/staking; on the website — participation/verification of holders and juror mechanics for dispute resolution.
  • Red flags (based on the information found): “onchain AI/VAIBC” (from the whitepaper) requires a separate operational check of whether an actually working onchain layer exists, and of its addresses/demo; some of the claims on the website are marketing wording without technical artifacts in this card.

AI reality

AI_0 — AI intent (Tier‑1 roadmap) (1/0)

  • AI_0 (decision): 0
  • Claim (one line): AI is described as a component of the product (AI legal assistant / intelligent contracts), not only as “plans for someday”.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://vaiot.ai/assets/files/VAIOT_Whitepaper.pdf
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): the whitepaper describes an existing technology stack and use‑cases; this is not just a roadmap item.
  • Conflict note (if any): —

AI_1 — what the AI does (1/0)

  • AI_1 (decision): 1
  • Claim (one line): AI is used for the Virtual AI Assistant (NLP/NLU) and for generating/processing contracts (“Intelligent Contracts”), including automation of legal tasks.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://vaiot.ai/assets/files/VAIOT_Whitepaper.pdf

  • Conflict note (if any): —

TK_4 — token is replaceable (1/0)

  • TK_4 (decision): 0
  • Claim (one line): the token is embedded in the economy (settlement/payback/rewards), but a strict irreplaceability test is not given in the whitepaper.
  • Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://vaiot.ai/assets/files/VAIOT_Whitepaper.pdf
  • Why sufficient / why not (one line): the utility is described, but “why it cannot be replaced with fiat/a stablecoin” is not proven.
  • Conflict note (if any): —
