Altura
Altura — a reference card for a crypto project: what the product does and how verifiable the project’s key claims are; also — alignment with the Decentralized AI thesis (DecAI Fit).
Altura — an AI/Agents platform for Web3 games (SDK/API, marketplace, Smart NFTs); token: ALU.
Disclaimer
Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.
TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)
- What it is: a platform for integrating Web3 features into games (NFT assets, marketplace, SDK/API) + a separate AI toolset.
- Who it’s for: game studios and indie developers; players who trade/own in‑game items.
- Why onchain/token: onchain provides ownership/trading of in‑game NFTs; the ALU token is claimed as the means of paying for services and accessing features.
How it works (very briefly)
- The user does: a developer connects the SDK/API and configures in‑game assets.
- The system does: provides an API for mint/transfer/update of NFTs, a marketplace and modules (Smart NFTs).
- The user gets: players receive items as NFTs and can own/trade them.
- Where the blockchain is: ownership and operations with NFTs/the marketplace are executed on the chosen network.
- Token role (if any): ALU is claimed as the token for paying for services and accessing AI features.

General project overview
Altura is a “Web3 for games” platform: a set of APIs/SDKs and ready‑made modules that help game studios and indie developers add onchain functionality to games (mint/transfer of NFTs, marketplace, “smart” in‑game items) without building the whole infrastructure from scratch. A separate direction is Altura Intelligence, where AI tools for content and NPCs are claimed.
Features/modules
- SDK & API: working with the player profile and NFT data, NFT operations (mint/transfer/update), etc.
- Smart NFTs: dynamic NFT items that can be updated “in real time” based on in‑game conditions.
- Marketplace: a ready‑made marketplace and a white‑label option branded for the game.
- Altura Intelligence: AI tools, including the NPC Engine.
Typical scenarios
- Scenario 1 (game/studio): integrates the SDK → mints in‑game items as NFTs → players own/trade them.
- Scenario 2 (community/market): a project launches a white‑label marketplace → users buy/sell in‑game assets.
- Scenario 3 (AI‑NPC): a developer uses the NPC Engine → gets adaptive NPCs with memory/context.
Getting started (wallet/network)
- What you need: an account in the developer dashboard, integration via the API/SDK.
- Network/chain: Altura supports multi‑chain integrations (including BSC); ALU is BEP‑20.
- Fees: network fees of the chosen network + fees/payments within the platform (where applicable).
Architecture/tech (non‑AI)
- Components: API/SDK, marketplace, smart contracts for NFTs/the marketplace (depending on the network).
- Roles: the game/project developer, players/buyers, the Altura platform as the operator of services.
- Where the logic is: NFT ownership/transfers and trading operations — onchain; integrations/accounts/part of the business logic — Altura’s offchain services.
Token/economics (expanded, no forecasts)
- Token utility: on its website, Altura claims that ALU is used “for all in‑platform transactions and services”, including asset trading and unlocking AI features.
- Payment: users/projects pay for services/operations in the Altura ecosystem (details of pricing/contracts require a separate check).
- Issuance/vesting: Max Total Supply 1,330,000,000 ALU (BscScan); the contract contains a
mintfunction (see the Explorer and the contract code).
Governance
- Model: no public Tier‑1 signs of DAO governance were found in the sources used; the product is likely managed by the team/company.
Security and incidents
- Audits: a public audit report (Solid Group) is listed in the links.
- Bug bounty: not found in Tier‑1 sources.
- Risks: as with any platform with NFTs/a marketplace: contract risks, risks of integrations/operator keys, onchain phishing risk for users.
Project status and timeline
- Current status: an active product (website + docs).
- Roadmap: the Altura Intelligence page —
https://altura.com/intelligence.
Ecosystem/integrations
- Integrations: SDK/integrations for game engines (Unity/Unreal are mentioned on the website), multi‑chain support.
- Where it is used: the website has a list of games “Powered by Altura” (as a showcase of cases).
AI component of the project
- What is real AI here? The documentation describes the NPC Engine, which uses LLM + RL agents, memory on a vector DB and RAG for adaptive NPCs.
- What is truly onchain? NFT assets and their trading/ownership; Smart NFTs as onchain objects that can be “updated” according to the integration rules.
- Why is a token needed? The website claims that ALU is used for in‑platform transactions/services and for access to AI features.
- Red flags (based on the information found): AI‑washing — medium (there is a Tier‑1 description of the NPC Engine, but no Tier‑1 demos/examples of it in operation); onchain‑washing — medium (it is not established which “Smart NFTs” changes are recorded onchain vs offchain); token‑washing — medium (confirmed pricing rules/the mandatory nature of ALU are needed beyond the “in‑platform token” claims).
