Disclaimer
Important: this page is a reference overview of the project. Within DecAIHub, we separately record a verification based on open sources within the AI thesis (what is real AI/onchain/why a token, and which sources this is based on).
This is not financial advice and not a recommendation to buy/sell/hold any asset. We do not assess price, returns, or entry/exit timing.
Conclusions are based on publicly available materials found as of the verification date. The absence of confirmation does not imply the absence of the technology.
TL;DR (for readers who are not into AI)
- What it is: an AI market/“super app” for creating and trading tokenized AI agents in the Solana ecosystem (bonding curve + DEX integrations).
- Who it’s for: users who want to create/launch an agent (including without code), and traders/market participants who trade agent tokens; developers — for building agents on frameworks (including SONA).
- Why onchain/token: onchain is needed for the tokenization of agents and for trading/fees; the $TAI token is used as the base currency/liquidity in the AI Market and for staking (and governance points).
- What you can actually touch (Tier‑1): the web product
https://tars.pro/ai-market(Create Agent button) and the SONA Quick Starthttps://docs.tars.pro/sona-framework/getting-started/quick-start.
How it works (very briefly)
- The user does: goes to the AI Agent Market and creates an agent (or picks an existing agent token and trades it).
- The system does: creates/launches the agent on the chosen framework and LLM; upon creation the agent is “tokenized via bonding curve”; a fee is charged for trading.
- The user gets: access to the agent as a “product” and/or a tradable agent token with liquidity.
- Where the blockchain is: issuance/trading of agent tokens (bonding curve → migration to Raydium) and onchain actions of agents (transfers/DEX trading/bridging — claimed in the docs).
- Token role: $TAI — the liquidity pair and the fee currency (1% fees in TAI), as well as the staking asset.

General project overview
TARS describes itself as a technology stack on Solana for consumer AI and “permissionless agents”, and the key product entry point is the TARS AI Agent Market: a hub where one can quickly deploy and “tokenize” an AI agent (via a bonding curve) and trade agent tokens. In parallel, the project develops its own frameworks (including SONA) and a set of integrations (social networks, DEXs, bridges).
Features/modules
- AI Agent Market: a “launchpad for on-chain autonomous agents” with aggregation of frameworks and LLMs.
- Permissionless agent creation: configuration of personality/tone/sample responses, including “generative personalities” based on an X handle.
- Tokenization + trading: launching an agent with tokenization via a bonding curve; trading in TAI/SOL; migration to Raydium when a threshold is reached.
- On-chain integrations (SONA): web3 modules for agent actions (transfers/DEX trading/bridges) + WaaS (Turnkey) for signing.
- Staking: staking of $TAI (the UI lists governance points and voting as “coming soon”).
Typical scenarios
- Scenario 1 (creator): creates an agent in the AI Market → confirms the transaction and pays the fee → the agent is launched and tokenized.
- Scenario 2 (trader): performs operations with agent tokens → pays a 1% fee in TAI; as it grows, an agent token can migrate to Raydium.
- Scenario 3 (dev): deploys an agent on SONA locally (Quick Start) → connects plugins (swap/raydium/oracles, etc.) → uses the CLI/APIs.
Getting started (wallet/network)
- What you need: a Solana wallet (for the AI Market / staking) and a Node.js/pnpm environment (if running SONA).
- Network/chain: Solana mainnet.
- Fees: Solana network fees + protocol fees (1% fee in TAI on trades; a $100 fee in SOL or TAI is specified for agent creation).
Architecture/tech (non‑AI)
- Components: the AI Market/Console web application, agent frameworks (SONA and others), integrations (DEXs/bridges/social networks), and the onchain part for tokenization/trading (bonding curve → Raydium).
- Participant roles: agent creators, agent token traders, users/operators, Solana validators, providers of external services (Turnkey, Li.Fi, etc.).
- Where logic runs: offchain — inference/orchestration/social integrations; onchain — issuance/trading of tokenized agents and the operations that an agent initiates via web3 modules.
- Dependencies: Solana, Raydium (CP‑Swap), Turnkey WaaS, Li.Fi (bridge routing), external LLM providers.
Token/economics (expanded, no forecasts)
- Token utility (Tier‑1): $TAI is used as the liquidity pairing for all tokenized agents and as the fee currency (1% fee in TAI); the UI has $TAI staking.
- Who pays fees: traders/participants of the agent token market (1% fee), agent creators (fee upon creation).
- Where fees go: the docs say that the 1% fees in TAI are “utilized by TARS to further AI development and align community incentives” (the specific distribution mechanism is not disclosed).
- Staking: locking $TAI yields an APY; governance points for voting are also accrued (marked “Coming Soon” in the UI).
- Issuance/distribution: the max supply/issuance parameters of $TAI are not recorded in the available Tier‑1 sources →
—.
Governance
- Who makes decisions: — (the UI describes governance points and future voting, but the specific process is not disclosed).
- How protocol parameters change: —.
- Where: —.
- Keys/multisig: —.
Security and incidents
- Audits: an audit report (CertiK) is published in the
certik_auditrepository (link inlinks_*). - Bug bounty:
—(no public program was found per Tier‑1). - Incidents:
—(no postmortems/confirmed incidents were found per Tier‑1). - Threat model: smart contract risks of the bonding curve/trading and DEX integrations; key management/signing risks (WaaS); risks of offchain agents (hallucinations/erroneous actions).
Project status and timeline
- Current status: the web products (AI Market/Console/Staking) are available; SONA has a Quick Start.
- Key milestones: dated releases/versions are not listed in the available Tier‑1 sources →
—. - Roadmap: a link is present in
links_*(the page content was not extracted within the current check).
Ecosystem/integrations
- Integrations: Raydium (liquidity migration), Turnkey (WaaS), Li.Fi (bridge routing), social networks (X/Telegram/Discord/Farcaster), a set of LLM providers.
- Partners: the website mentions partners (Gate.io/Bybit/Nvidia/Solana Foundation, etc.); in this card we do not use this as “evidence of protocol integrations”.
- Where it’s actually used: creation/tokenization of an agent and trading via the AI Agent Market, launching SONA via the Quick Start.
AI component of the project
- What is real AI here? A platform for creating/launching AI agents (choice of framework and LLM, personality configuration) + the SONA dev framework for agentic DeFi actions.
- What is truly onchain? Tokenization of agents and trading via a bonding curve, integrations with Solana DEXs and the claimed web3 modules (send/receive/trade/bridge).
- Why is a token needed? $TAI is the liquidity pair for tokenized agents and the fee currency (1% fee), as well as the staking token.
- Red flags (based on the information found): “verified inference / TEE” is claimed without public metrics/an audit procedure for the TEE setups; the supply/issuance parameters of $TAI are not disclosed in the available Tier‑1 sources.

- Conflict note (if any): —
TK_2 — incentives/collateral/penalties (1/0)
- TK_2 (decision): 1
- Claim (one line): there is $TAI staking (locking for APY); $TAI underlies the economic “flywheel” model of demand via liquidity pairing.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://tars.pro/staking ; https://docs.tars.pro/ai-market/fees-and-economics
- Why sufficient / why not (one line): staking is shown in the product; the tokenomics logic of pairing is described in the docs.
- Conflict note (if any): —
TK_3 — governance (1/0)
- TK_3 (decision): 1
- Claim (one line): staking $TAI accrues governance points, which (per the UI) will be used for voting on proposals.
- Evidence: Tier‑1 — https://tars.pro/staking
